Gratitude!! Speaking up comes in all different forms and so to break stereotypes for the Good Blokes Xmas Appeal #Hear4U asked Steven Huzzy – a builder covered in tattoos – to model a flower wreath which was professionally photographed by Zara Staples.
The wreath was divided into four sections which were arranged from dark to light, symbolising moods and emotions with the change in colouring reflecting the concept of seeing light, after darkness.
These photographs were then showcased across #Hear4U social media platforms and the feedback was phenomenal. From here businesses/individuals from Gisborne, and nationwide helped fill hamper boxes with vouchers, gifts and products, then the Gisborne community nominated a ‘good bloke’ or a bloke in need due to the impacts of Covid, and then men were drawn out by four of our #Hear4u men.
In total over $17k of goods were donated, and the amazing team at #SPIKA completely kitted out our crew too.
